The below bio may not be entirely true. Erm.... It may not be true at all.
Lananeeneenoonoo is a female pop trio whose line-up consists of Kim, Kirsten & Jen.
In the late eighties, Lananeeneenoonoo were incorrectly billed in several TV interviews as being the top selling female of band of all time. It later became apparent that they were in fact the top selling female band of all time in Iceland.
In the UK, Lananeeneenoonoo are the 73rd top selling female band of all time, considerably far behind the Beverley Sisters.
Many of their songs were recorded at top London studios, The Works, home of Britain's top producers.
Musician Kevin Godley directed the video to 'Jimmy Mack'.
Their song, 'Boy For Me' was also used in a TV advert for a dating company. The advert was pulled after 2 days, when campaigners had petitioned the company due to the 'promiscious' tone of the song.
"Just gotta let you know, I think that you're the boy for me.
I've really got to let you know, that you might be the boy for me"
In 1987, Kim admitted to having a drink problem and would frequently pass out in public places. The most famous incident was when she passed out and fell onto Margaret Thatcher at a charity gala.
Lananeeneenoonoo collaborated with Bananarama on a charity single.
Kim wrote the political song 'Love In A Factory', which led to a vicious and lengthy court battle with Bananarama, who claimed that the song was too similar to their hit 'Love In The First Degree'. Amazingly Bananarama lost the case as Kim was able to produce evidence to suggest that she wrote both songs as well as Sonia's 'You'll Never Stop Me From Loving You'.

HAHAHAHAH Funny! Love!
